Gate Open at: Wednesday – 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.  Daylight Savings open until 5:00 p.m.

                       Saturday – 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.      Daylight Savings open until 5:00 p.m.

                      *Closed during the 9 day gun deer season

Transfer Station Rates effective 1/1/2010

• 30 gal Town of Union Bag
  • Pre-purchased in bundles of 10 - $2.00 per bag
• Pay before Unloading
• Building materials (wood, window, doors, shingles, etc.)
  • $50.00 minimum for a ¾ ton pickup box or equivalent or less
  • For loads over a ¾ ton pick up box  or equivalent an additional $50.00 for each ¾ ton pick up box or equivalent will be charged
• Burning Barrels - $10.00
• Stuffed goods (carpet, furniture, stuffed chairs, plastic toys, mattresses, box springs, etc) - $10.00
• Clean Scrap – No charge (no microwaves, refrigerators, freezers, air conditioners, dehumidifiers, computers, or monitors)
• Waste Tires – without Rims
  • Passenger under 16” $3.00 each
  • Light Truck 16” to 20” $7.00 each
  • Tractor/Large Truck over 20” $16.00 each
  • Tires with rims double the above price
• Batteries – all sizes $1.00 each
• No Brush or Yard Waste accepted
• No loose garbage will be accepted
• Non Town of Union bag $5.00 per bag 30 gal equivalent

 Bags may be purchased at:

• Town Hall
  • Tuesdays and Thursdays 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
  • Saturdays 8:00 a.m. to Noon, except every 3^rd Saturday of the month
• Holiday Gas Station on Truax Lane
• Transfer Station

**If your waste, excluding specialty items, can be put in a Town of Union bag please do so.  This will be the most cost effective way of disposal.**
